Introduction

Based on the original content of this web site, I have made the final step to turn these stories on Philips Technology History into a series of real books. The web site was and still is great for quick access, but many people - including myself - ultimately prefer a book. Books look and feel different, last (much) longer, are nicer for reading back and forth, and a good book with many illustrations is simply beautiful. Below you find details on how to order copies of these books.

New publisher for Maximus

My books were initially created using the self-publishing process. The first version of the first book was for the last two years available on this Lulu site. The advantage of this approach is that ordering is straightforward, can be done directly by any buyer, and avoids stocks and more complicated management. The drawback, in contrast, is that the visibility is low, and consequently the number of books sold equally low.
I have therefore started the process of finding a publisher willing to support the printing and distribution of my books. This was not easy, but I am very happy to have found Lecturis, here in Eindhoven, willing to support me in this.
